About Jeanne-Marie Cantereau

Jeanne-Marie Cantereau is an outdoor painter and her favourite medium is watercolour with a "loose representational" style.

Jeanne-Marie has created and led for almost 5 years a group of watercolourists in Thames. She offers periodic formal workshops, classes and personal tuition in Thames and the Coromandel Peninsula.

She has hold solo and shared exhibitions.

She has been successful with National, Regional and Local awards.

She has created and self-published her illustrated "French Cooking in New Zealand".

Her watercolours can be seen at Thames Society of Arts Gallery in Thames and at her Studio-gallery in Thames.

2017: Exhibition at Thames Gallery for the summer and winter exhibitions, at Franklin exhibition.
2016: Shared exhibition at Sola Café, Exhibition at Auckland Easter Show, at Franklin Art Show, at Waitakere Art Show, at Waikino Art Show, at Auckland Watercolour exhibition in Takapuna and at Thames ArtBeat Exhibition.
2015: Two shared exhibitions at Sola Café, Auckland Easter Show, Splash Wellington, Thames Winter Exhibition, Franklin Arts Festival with the 2nd prize in Watercolour for the birds "NZ personalities" which represents a Wood Pigeon (Kereru) and a Tui. Invited at "Feather and Fin" Exhibition at the Orewa Estuary Art Centre, Invited at Thames ArtBeat exhibition...
2014: February : Thames Summer Exhibition - First prize awarded by Peoples choice for the "Iceland Poppies", another painting of these beautiful flowers ! - Invited at Napier Rotary Club National Art Exhibition - Participating at The Coromandel Arts Tour - November : Invited at Thames Art Beat - December :Thames Summer exhibition.
